This is a good software for people who can save photos in the RAW format.

I have been trying it for a few weeks now and it is much faster than Nikon Capture. It is free. I use it for converting into jpg as I have noticed that taking in RAW gives a better image.
Has anyone tried it?

What kind of differences have you noticed taking in Raw format? I have never used it and it actually never occured to me to even try. .

When use the raw format the images that you would take will be pure,no sharpening or color rebalancing so you have more control over the pre-processing on photoshop or other software programme.
But on the other hand the raw format provides large file sizes,thus you must have large storage cards
