Great lens for portraits too http://www.boxerworld.com/photo/showphoto.php/photo/42699/sort/1/cat/500/page/1 but i had to bring down the quality at this photo
How come you are getting birthday presents in advance? It should be in 2 weeks :D
Great photos! I read that the Canon macro 100 is a great lens. Well, you have almost everything now. You only miss a wide angle lens :)

Olly,i got the lens 2 weeks before my birthday, because the impatience is the bad part of myself :D
I would love a lens Canon 17-40mm f 4/L ,but i have to wait for something else to celebrate......maybe the Christmas.... it would be a nice opportunity :D
LOL What about celebriting the 6 months since the day you joined the board etc? :)
How long do you plan to keep your D60? It is a great camera but, as everything electronic related, it starts to get "outdated" by cameras using newer sensors (like noise in high ISO). I have the feeling you are waiting for getting a top Canon SLR after all the purchase of lenses you did lately.

.
For my husband it's not a good excuse ....and now as i'm thinking i don't know if the Christmas is a good excuse too LOL :D
I will keep my D60 for years, because it was very expensive, and i don't believe i will able to buy a new camera very soon.
I don't use high ISO not only with the DSLR,but also with SLR i used only 100ASA film and sometimes i used 400ASA B&W
I use long expose and tripod for night photos and a flash with a cable for inside photos :)
