This past weekend i had planned to take photos of the moon, but it was so cloudy that i couldn't even see it,maybe next week i'm lucky :)
Here is some settings of the exposure time-f-stop-ISO that may help someone which wants to take photos of the moon

ISO 100
F/2.8 at exposure time 1/2000
f/4 at 1/1000
f/5.6 at 1/500
f/8 at 1/250
f/11 at 1/125

ISO 200
f/2.8 at 1/4000
f/4 at 1/2000
f/5.6 at 1/1000
f/8 at 1/500
f/11 at 1/250

and here two very useful sites that you can see the phases of the moon.

It has been a long time I have not taken photos of the moon (but my lenses are not powerful enough anyway...). I noticed that to take good photo of the moon you need to have the exposure setting to only one point (in the middle of the photo).

Olly, what do you mean....the exposure setting to only one point (in the middle of the photo)....I didn't understand that
Tonight we are going to go at the beach and take photos of the full moon :)

Finally we went at the beach and i took many photos of the moon,it was not as big and close to the sea as i expected,so i couldn't take a photo with it's reflection on the sea
I have placed the photos on my gallery and all of these(but the photo of just the moon)are the connection of two photos. The moon was in the same place, the same time ,but it was impossible to take a photo with the moon and the landscape without one of these to be hypo-hyper exposure
The photos of the moon only taken with the 70-200 4L+extender 1.4 and the landscapes were taken with the 28-135 and long exposures

Very nice photos! The moon looks so big!
Unfortunately it has been too cloudy here for taking photos of the full moon.

Yes, I wasn't clear ;)
I meant the metering, not the exposure. It needs to be on "Spot" on the Nikon to get a nice photo of the moon.
At the bottom of http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/nikond70/page5.asp you have the three Metering modes on the Nikon :)
