I wonder how many cards do you have.I have one 256mb sandisk and one Ultra 516mb sandisk.At weekends i need more than what i have now.

I have one 516mb and two 128mb. It is adequate for now, but I'm going away in October for almost a month and I know it won't be enough. I will probably just take my laptop with me so that I can back them up. :)

I have two 512mb, one 256mb, three 128mb, two 16mb and one 8mb card (LOL).
I usually use the two 512mb and also a portable hard disk X drive (http://www.megapixelworld.com/board/showthread.php?t=147). I use it all the time and it is much cheaper than having many cards as I usually have around 4-5GB of photos after a 3 days trip. It contains a 40GB hard disk.

I really worder if i have to get a portable hard disk or new card or to put extra memory to the laptop. :confused:
The laptop has only 64mb memory and it isn't enough for the camera

A laptop is good, but the portable hard disk is soooo easy to carry :D

You are right,the portable hard disk is eary to carry,but with the laptop you can see the photos immediately....and also to play games :D

Since I don't own a laptop I was thinking of buying some extra 512mb CF...just in case :)

I have added two compact flash cards to my "collection" now: 1 x 2GB card and 1 x 1GB card.
I saw a 6GB microdrive for £135. Very tempting!

I just have a 256 and a 16 lol. That holds about 3 photos :rolleyes: I will ahve to buy another one when I go on holiday though, or a portable hard disk. Decisions!!

I now have 3 - 1gb CF cards.

I have 1 x 8 GB SanDisk Extreme III. I am waiting for 2 x 8 GB Extreme IVs and the extreme reading which is a FW800 reader for a faster transfer to the laptop.

I am looking at getting a portable media viewer with an 80GB drive so I can dump the memory cards on to it whilst on the road. My 5D take 12MB RAW files so it should a few shots! ;-).

I have a 512 and an 8 that came with my Rebel, I always take it to a store and have them put on a disk. I want to buy a lap top but not sure what kind to buy? Jan where are you going?
