The Monument (http://www.bluffton.edu/~sullivanm/england/london/wrenmonument/wren.html) is a good place for taking photos of London. It is fairly high so you can have an overview of the city.

We have a couple of bridges here, but nothing as tall as the Monument to get a good overview of the city.

Actually the dome of the St Paul cathedral is better for taking photos :)
