About two weeks ago,i and Avra were attacked by two female dogs and i hurt my hand as Avra jerked the leash that i had put around my carpus,
since then my hand is swolled,i'm in pain and i can't hold the camera,so i'm able to take photos only inside using the tripod and remote control

Here are two photos of my homeopath medicine, the first was taken with the flash of the camera http://www.megapixelworld.com/photography/showphoto.php?photo=1305&limit=recent
and the second one with the external cord flash 1.5m. away from the camera

Sorry to hear that Sophia and I wish you a speedy recovery. I know, sometimes walking a dog is very difficult due to such circumstances.
Don't worry girl, no matter where you are inside or outside, you take excellent pictures.

Thank you both for your wishes :)
Avra had not any problem,a female GSD jumped from her yeard and tried to attack us and at the same time a female boxer broked the chain and tried to attack us too, they were in the same building. They were afraid of Avra and stayed 2m away from us growling and barking, but Avra wanted to attack too,and jerked the leash that I had put around my right carpus, thus I bruised my hand.
Thankfully the dogs didn't fight

Oh Sophia, I'm sorry about your injury and I'm so glad that neither you nor Avra were injured by the dogs. Very scary! Nonetheless, the pictures you've taken inside are quite interesting and I'm certain you're imagining all the pictures you will take as soon as you're healed properly. I have a feeling you have some amazing ideas already. :)

Ouch! sore hand or not your pictures are great as usual. The same thing happened to me with Ryker, I hand his leash around my right wrist and was just going to get a kleenex in my pocket when he decided he had to mark the stop sign and pulled and my hand got caught in my pocket and sprained my thumb. I couldn't use my hand for month. Get better soon.

Thank you!! :)
I won't take Avra for a walk without her training harness anymore, she is a really strong girl!

The same happened to my friend with her boxer!!

I hope the problem with your hand will be fixed soon. In the meantime, I should think about a theme of the week outdoor related so we finally have our chance. LOL Just kidding :D

Hi Sophia.

Sorry to hear about your hand. Is your dog ok or was it hurt too? Walkin a dog can be difficult sometimes. Today I took my dog for a walk and we were approached by 2 huge black dogs at differnet times. She was terrified, but thank God, they only wanted to play. You never know though.

I used to take a stick with me, but sometimes I think that only makes them more aggresive. I now take a small can of deoderant with me. One spray in their direction and they think twice about coming closer. I also tried a plant sprayer filled with water, so as not to hurt their eyes, but it was too heavy.

Love your photos, especially your medicine drop! Don't worry you'll be out there in no time. :D

Thank you Fiona,Avra is fine but my hand hasn't recovery yet. :)

You are right that the stick makes them more aggresive.I don't use stick or spray because these would make Avra thinks that the other
dog is dangerous and i don't want that,i try to stay and speak calmy and have the leash loose.
Usually female dogs are afraid of Avra and don't approash us very close,
the accident happened because Avra dragged me,the other dogs didn't come very close to us.
Unfortunatelly bad socialization at the park (every day 2-3 hours and let her to be a dog)make her realize that she is strong and able to dominate other female dogs and instead of back off when she feels frightened, she whould choose to fight, but she had never bitten any dog,she just pin them down and growls until the other dog turn the eyes away, but it's really frightening to hear the sound fo her growl, thus i have to prevent that. She has many friends and plays nicely with male dogs.

I guess you have many photos of your dog, can't wait to see her.
