On Sunday 30 October it is the end of the summer time in the European Union (I do not know in the rest of the world). I find that annoying as it already gets dark at around 7pm now. On the up side, there is one hour more to sleep :D
What is your opinion about the daylight saving time? :)

The only part I look forward to is one hour of extra sleep :)

It gets depressing when you leave for work and it's dark, and you come home from work and it is almost dark..

I think DST sucks! When I worked in Montreal I left in the dark and came home in the dark. This is how it started:

I can't wait! Here we have plenty of sun and even at 9 o'oclock at the morning the sun is harsh during summer. It's hot with the sun all day so harsh and also doesn't help me to take good photos :D i like very much the diffused light of Autumn :)

Avra doesn't realize the time changing and would wake me up the same time :)

I HATE the switch over, it fully messes me up. I go to sleep way later and wake up earlier. Buuut I love the longer summer nights :) So I guess its worth it.

Yes, but when we lose an hour of sleep, I find it especially annoying with everyone looking like a zombie at work.

Its amazing how one little hour can mess up people so much.

Its going into winter in the uk now yes? So you guys put your clocks back? Doesnt that mean you get an hour less? I always found DLS so confiusing, although im sure its really very easy :P

Hmm I didnt think the USA had daylight savings. Who doesnt have it then?

Yes, we will sleep one hour more in the European Union :)
I see about 70 countries use the summer time thing, so there is a majority of countries not using it. More information at http://webexhibits.org/daylightsaving/g.html

So in winter you sleep more, summer less.

No wonder I feel like crap this morning lol.

Well, I don't mind the switch at all. You see, Arizona does not change over for daylights savings time. :) In California we did, however, and the first days were always an adjustment (especially for the kids).

LOL! I think I have a defective Boxer. She can sleep til 11 AM if I do not wake her up. Of course I am up, because she snores too loudly..

Im right there with you with the defective boxer  I think she has a few screws missing because she will sleep all day if I dont get out of bed. It amazes me how long she can hold her bladder for  Im so glad she doesnt snore too. I cant handle a clock ticking let alone a freight train boxer :D
