Nice portrait of Lily and would be better if the trees wouldn't be there and the sky was the background.
To take a figure photo you just need to set the properly exposure for the bright part of the photo,as you did(sky),thus the dark part of the photo(Lily and trees)would be underexposure :)

Here there aren't big spiders and when i saw the photo,the first that i thought was how strong the web seems to be!It must be a big spider!!
