I was just wondering what everyone's job is? After not sleeping trying to figure out these "Guess" subjects, I was wondering how everyone was coping during the day, I know I'm falling asleep:D :rolleyes:

We own a swimming pool services company and I'm out on the road with DH right now closing pools. Its sure hard to get up and go after little sleep.:eek: :)

I'm self-employed,we make bouquets for christenings and marriage :)

No,not wonderful smells.The flowers are artificial and dried.The dried have an evil smell :eek:
We also use ribbons,candles and small toys.When we buy new toys Avra is like a puppy,this week she destroyed about 10 bears LOL :D

We have some dried flowers here that really smell nice. Bad Avra:D Real flowers are nice but they don't last like dried flowers. I would love to see some pictures of your work some time.

This is an interesting subject.....Sophia, I imagined you did something creative for work, sounds wonderful! My Diesle still gets into things too sometimes when we are not home...his favorite is toilet paper, he shreds it till it looks like it snowed in the house :D

The dentist here does all the treatment work and diagnosing.....fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals....etc. I clean the teeth, remove calculus and plaque, look for areas that are or could be a problem, educate the patients and try and help them keep their mouth healthy or help get it to a healthy state.....our abilities of what we can and can not perform here vary from state to state.

I should go to Greece and start something new :)

The last 3 jobs I had were all working in boarding kennels. I loved it! Too bad managers seem to be a$$h0les :eek:

I started as a dental assistant and just recently finished school for hygiene. For what ever reason I have always had an interest in teeth and peoples smiles :D I love the profession and its very rewarding when the people are so appreciative. My salary doubled too, thats a bonus! ;)

Here the dentist does all these,that is why your job doesn't exist in Greece yet!If you come here you would be the first the dental hygienist :D

Sophia, I have my Dentist and he has an assistant and I also have a Dental Hygienist. But there are Dentist here who do all the work themselves. My sons Dentist has no assistant or hygienist. A lot cheaper too. My Dentist has televisions in the ceiling, music etc but you pay for it!:D

Mine has children's games and books,it made me squirm to say that,but my dentist is a Child dentist :p I'm a little afraid of the dentists :o

Dentists have come a long way for sure. I'm terrified of Dentists, my Dentist calls me his white knuckled flyer because I hold on to the chair so tight:eek: I had a bad experience when I was young and had a drill go through my lip. I'm getting better now because I know my Dentist well as he knows me. I'm even nervous when I have my teeth cleaned:(

I also had a bad experience when i was a child.Now when i have my teeth cleaned i ask for local anaesthesia,my dentist told me that she has never done this before!

Sophia, I used to ask for this to, but now I have a lot of faith in my new Dentist he's really super. People tell me I should be hypnotised(sp) so I won't be scared any more.

I have a lot of people who require anesthetic for their cleanings.....some take nitrous also.....its a shame that soo many dentists don't have the patients or chair side manors to make people feel more relaxed and comfortable with being their....most of us have had bad experiences when we were younger, including myself.....(not anything like a drill through my lip, thats aweful!!! :( I am glad you found a dentist you trust though!) I still get a knot in my stomach when rolls are reversed and I am in the chair. Thank god for the good Doctors :) A lot of them are money, money, money....it just kills me, selling dentistry. Once I get good and settled I would love to get into some charity work in areas that don't have much dentistry:)

Another thing I hate is the teeth cleaner thing. The really high pitched one that takes plaque off. It makes me cringe!

lol....thats funny.....most people don't like to floss...I say its the armpits of your mouth :eek: .....yeah, even with head phones you can't escape that squeeling noise, although its all music to my ears...:D

Thats water I beleive. I don't mind flossing, I keep floss downstairs in the family room and when I have finished eating for the nite I floss while watching TV:rolleyes: so I only have to brush when I go upstairs.

What an interesting variety of career choices. I'm an interpreter/translator. Mostly I do translation work (Spanish/English) these days as I am able to work from home on my computer and email the finished product to my clients. Before three children, I was a court interpreter and spent some of my time in court and attorney's offices. :)

I work in Investments. It's one of those boring 9-5 jobs that would drive Colleen crazy. Except it's really 8-4, or sometimes I get in at 7am.
