My internet provider has started a new photo processing thing online. Im going to do it because its only 60c a print, whereas at other places its about $1

They say you should choose the 5.33x4 size because thats the best for digital, but then im worried that they wont fit into a frame any more. I normally got 6x4 and dont think ive ever had a problem with it cutting off bits like the link says it will.

Would it really matter that much if I got the 6x4? Heres the link that explains it. http://www.frogprints.co.nz/help/cropping.cfm

Advise me!! lol

Another thing, ive heard that 640x480 resized photos dont come out very well? Some of the photos I want have been resized and I dont have the original. Will the quality be really bad?

Why don't you crop to 6x4 before you send it for printing. At least that way you get the size that you want.

60 cents per print seems pretty expensive. I am sure that you can get them alot cheaper here.

You should always save the original photo, before you make any changes. 640 x 480 is a fairly low resolution. You usually save that for photo's that you're going to post to the internet. It probably won't print very well. When I save a change, I usually just add on to the file name. Like for the first save, I add on an "a", for second save I might add a "b", for a picture that I am saving to post on megapixel world, I usually add an "m". You get the idea.

Ohh I see what you mean. I thought cropping (like to 6x4) was the same as making it something like 640x480 :p

Im trying to find somewhere cheaper, but I havent looked very much. I do know its cheaper over the internet. Its utterly rediculous at stores.

I used to resize them and not keep the original. Unfortunately I realised too late and some of my good pics are too small now. These days I have two copies, one for internet and one for photos :)
