I have been reading a lot on cameras in general, and the past forums here and other sites...but I am a bit confused on this model :confused: ..I am probably reading too much into it, but anyways, is the canon EOS 350D XT (8mp) model that is all black and says 350D in the lower right hand corner of the camera (if your looking at the camera) the same as the digital rebels, where it says rebel xt on the lower right hand corner of the camera? It also comes in black or silver.....some I have seen just say EOS 350 XT/professional and some say the same along with the rebel XT and some say both. What exactly is the rebel??...is it the same camera just a different body casing?

I know that in Europe the Canon 350D named also Digital Rebel XT and Kiss.Body color is black or silver and says 350D in the lower right corner of the camera.

What exactly is the rebel
The Rebel is named EOS 300D in Europe and the Rebel XT is the EOS 350D.
I have no idea why the difference of names. It is also confusing with Olympus and Minolta cameras (Maxxus in the USA I think, and Dynax in Europe).
