Hi, my name is Gary and I am another crossover from Boxerworld. Some of you may know me from there as IluvLucy. I have been interested in photography since I took a class in high school. I worked mostly with B&W at that time(cheaper) and even had my own darkroom in the basement of my parents house. I didn't have a good camera then but I did have the equipment to develop(B&w) film and photographs. I own a Minolta X-700 that I bought when our first child was born(8 yrs. ago). I have 2 nice Vivitar Series one lenses for it along with a few other accessories. Unfortunately I hardly ever use any of it. I bought my first digital camera, an Olympus D360-L a few years ago and found that I just love digital. The Olympus developed a problem(after my son knocked it to the floor) with the sliding lens cover/on-off switch. I can still use it but it is not very convenient to have to pop the cover off and manually switch it on/off. So I recently purchased a Konica Minolta DiMage Z6. I like it very much and look forward to trying out all the features and sharing pictures with all of you.

I read that same review before I bought it! The Dynax 4, is that the same as the Maxxum in the U.S.?
Yes it is! I still enjoy it because it is so light.
Hi Gary! Welcome to board. I hope you are enjoying your camera and expect to see lots of pictures. :)
