View Full Version : my first shot at macrophotography -Shanz- 12-29-2005, 10:15 PM Here's my first try at macrophotography. http://www.megapixelworld.com/photography/showphoto.php?photo=1836&cat=504 it is still pending approval, but let me know what you think, and how you think i can improve! Olly 12-29-2005, 10:59 PM I just approved it. It is a nice photo but we can't really judge the macro as it is not big enough. You need to crop the photo and to upload a larger one (like 750 pixels wide). I uploaded a macro of a coin too a long time ago: http://www.megapixelworld.com/photography/showphoto.php?photo=483 -Shanz- 12-29-2005, 11:09 PM Ill try cropping it and then i'll repost. -Shanz- 12-30-2005, 01:14 AM I cropped it and re uploaded it, but i dont know where it went. Theres nothing in my album that says photo pending approval. Olly 12-30-2005, 01:42 AM Well, I don't see it either. I see you deleted one photo toonie.JPG -Shanz- 12-30-2005, 02:01 AM yes, that was the original picture, the uncropped one. The new one i tried to upload was toonie2.jpg, I'll retry -Shanz- 12-30-2005, 02:09 AM my fault, i thought it was a jpg file, it was a psd file because i cropped it in photoshop. Douma 12-30-2005, 04:43 AM Very nice macro.:) Olly 12-30-2005, 09:50 AM Nice photo! And much better than the first one ;) Is the white balance correct? Colleen 12-30-2005, 01:49 PM Nice toonie! you can see all the little scratches on it. -Shanz- 12-30-2005, 03:36 PM Nice photo! And much better than the first one ;) Is the white balance correct? Yesh lol I corrected the white balance. The bottom part coin isnt as crisp as I'd like, but I think thats the actual toonie, because its kind of faded. |
