I'm thinking of purchasing one for my canon 20d Douma 01-02-2006, 04:26 PM I have never had a lensbaby, but years ago i got a Hoya filter for selective focus,i didn't use it alot as i was bored very soon with this.At that time i bought a Hoya star filter,a multivision and a diffuser and neither of them i used for long time Nowdays we are able to create these effects in photoshop very easy :) How much a lensbaby cost? robindepaula 01-02-2006, 05:36 PM The original lensbabies are $96 - the new lensbabie 2 is $150. They have macro attachment kit for $29. http://www.lensbabies.com I'm probably gonna get a lensbabie 2 in the next week or so - I'll post some pics as soon as I get it. Robin Douma 01-02-2006, 05:54 PM Thanks for the info! I'll post some pics as soon as I get it. can't wait to see them :) Colleen 01-03-2006, 12:32 AM Interesting , can't wait to see them too. Olly 01-03-2006, 09:42 PM I have seen (on a paper magazine) some nice photos taken with lensbabies but I did not find them interesting as we can produce the same effect using a computer. It is probably easier with lensbabies though :) Waiting for your photos! Olly robindepaula 01-04-2006, 01:42 AM Yeah, I know I can produce the images in PS, etc . . . but I'm kinda lazy - I'd rather it come out of the camera the way I imagine it. LOL :D I'm gonna order it at the end of the week when I get some wedding payments in . . . money, it seems I'm always waiting on it to arrive!! Have a great day! Robin :) |
