I managed to take some photos of the view (and of course Lily) before my camera died.

Photo 1 - I nearly DIED when I saw this LOL. My sister and I were sliding down the hill on cardboard (as you do right?) and when I got to the bottom and turned around this was what I saw. It had just missed my head by this |---| much :eek: :eek: :eek: . That was the end of that game!

Photo 2 - Sunset over the hills

Photo 3,9,10, - The view from the main living area. Tuki Tuki River is in the middle.

Photo 4 - A couple of trees ;)

Photo 5 - Thats what the weather was like for most of the time. Hot and sunny.

Photo 6,12 - Te Mata Peak in the background. Taken just outside the kitchen.

Photo 13 - Looking into the pine forest from one of the rooms. That is no easy hill to walk down/up :p

So thats the view. Its different from the city view now, that you get sick of very easily. This is always changing and I could look out at it for hours (and I did :D ). I have more pics of Lily but ill post them on BW ;)

Went to Hawkes Bay. Its on the east part of the North Island. If you look on a detailed map it will show Napier, then below that is Hastings, then Havelock North under that. The house is about 15 mins from Havelock North :)

If you look at the little orange dot that is Havelock, then draw a striaght line directly down until you reach the road and river next to each other (about 1cm down). Thats where the house is, just on the hill behind the road :)

You took some very nice photos, especially the ones with Lily.
Too bad about forgetting the charger. That's the reason why I like when a camera uses regular AA batteries we can find anywhere.

Olly indeed. All you see is rows and rows of grape vines where ever you go. Went to a winery called Black Barn (http://www.blackbarn.com/) and had a very nice lunch. Best tempura prawns ive ever had :D
