I have finally added the pictures from my transit through the Panama Canal.
Unfortunately it was really poor day. The worst we had. :(

Nice photos :) I quite like the misty look, almost gives an eerie feel to the photos :)

A very interesting set of photos! How many locks do you have to go through?
There are basically three sets of locks. There are the Gatun locks on the Atlantic side, which consists of three separate locks. On the Pacific side there are the Pedro Miguel Locks, which consists of one lock and then there are the Miraflores Locks, which consists of two locks. The Pedro Miguel Locks and the Miraflores locks are only separated by a short distance. The Panamal Canal is 80 kilometers long. It took all day to go from one side to the other.

Wow nice pictures. The ship in front of you was really loaded:D What was the picture of the big rock mountain, looked like an old monument of sorts?
Are you talking about this one?

I know they did a lot of terracing when they built the canal as they had a real problem with the banks sliding down. I'm not sure if that was the case here as it looks very rocky. I just took the picture because it looked interesting. :)
