We had just come back from a 45 min sleigh ride and they were very hot, it had been such a nice day out. It cooled them off I guess lol

Its cold here, he also has a sweather, I need to get them boots too. They put a lot of salt on the roads here for the ice and its hard on their feet.

They do put waaaay too much salt on the roads AND sidewalks here. They also put gravel on the road..not sure what that's supposed to accomplish because it doesnt melt the ice...maybe for traction?? All i know is those trucks that go around putting it on the road, like the street sweepers, they dont care if anyone is standing near by...and when you get hit with the salt flying from the trucks...it hurts!

I wish they could use sand instead of salt but then that wouldn't melt the ice as you say. I know what you mean re the street sweepers, one went by in front of the house one day in the summer and almost hit me on my front porch.:eek: they were also hitting cars in the driveway, people must have complained because I don't see them anymore:D
