We have our own swimming pool services company, we do everything but put new swimming pools in.

This is giving a customers pool an overhaul, changing everything. Still cheaper than putting in a new pool.

This is the finished project:

Thank you!

Does she made them using fresh flowers or dried and artificial?

-Shanz-
02-27-2006, 09:13 PM
She's only used artifical ones up til now, but she was saying something about expirimenting with fresh ones

Shannon cool photo :D I like your stethoscope cover thing :) lol it reminded be that I have to go buy a vet book today. Those things really break the bank!

Colleen
02-28-2006, 12:00 AM
Shannon I take it your going to become a vet? Which campus do you go to? Woodroffe or Rideau? Our vets wife just passed away from a virus, she was a vet too. Miss her so much, she was super nice.

-Shanz-
02-28-2006, 04:16 AM
Laura- yes, they do break the bank. I figured out the other day I spent a little over 700$ on my books for this year. And thats for 7 books. Also spent 515$ on a rabies vaccine thats only good for 2 years, then I have to go for boosters

Colleen- no im just going to be a vet tech. Im at the Woodroffe campus. We're getting our own teaching hospital next year, Im VERY excited for that. I wanted to be a vet, but the requirements are much the same as med school. 2 years in univeristy in a biology related study, 90% grade average, an interview process, you have to pass a test much similiar to the MCAT, they only have 100 spaces and its a four year program (this is for Guelph University). I dont like school enough to go for another 6 years. This is a 2 year program that Im in

Colleen
02-28-2006, 04:34 AM
Well good for you. My sons girlfriends is in Ottawa U taking bio etc and its tough. She just went for an interview In Vancouver for Med school. So long.

I have heard that in other countries they use only fresh flowers instead of dried or artificial flowers to decorate wedding candles,we have a customer in Astoria and he told me that they sell the flowers only for Greek weddings. We also get used to decorate the christenings candles with flowers and things like little dolls or baby bears

Does it take a lot of time to do something like that?

Colleen this is the most simple bunch, and it takes about 7-10 min.The most complected takes about 1 1/2 hour

Wow $500 for a vaccine!?! Thats insane.

The books have to buy are between $130-150 each. Have to buy 4 or 5. The price we pay for paper!

I dont like school enough to go for another 6 years.

Exactly the reason I didnt want to become a vet. Requires too much brain power for too long lol

I don't have any choice. :) I have to go outside and the yard can get to be like a swamp sometimes. You should see the mud trail I leave in the building!
It's not well recieved.:D
I'll most likely be getting a Toyota next. They have bought 2 already and I think they kind of want to standardize. It will likely have a higher weight capacity, which would be nice.
