Some photos of Rome taken this week. I have about 8GB of photos. Now I need to do some selection and it will take days. LOL Very interesting city, many nice fountains. Crossing the street is like playing Russian roulette though!

Very nice photos and you managed very well the wide angle lens, the photos are very impressive and i imagine them at 30x40cm,we would see all the details of the city!
How did you take the photo of the Colosseum at night?did you use the tripod?
Do the photos still as the turned out of the camera or you cropped the edges of them?I noticed that except the photo "Inside the Vatican"the rest are very sharp and without distortion even at the edges.

Looking your photos i'm sure that the sigma will be my next lens :D

Thank you. It is a place I recommend to visit. It is a not well organised (schedule means nothing) but still fun :)
The weather was fine but a little cold at night (near zero celsius). In a month it should be perfect but then it can be awful with the crowd (it was already busy in some touristical places). I could feel the pollution and during the summer it can get worse...

Yes, for the night photo I used a tripod. Unfortunately they didn't put lights on the forum area (not enough tourists out at night I guess). Well, next time!
As for the photos, they have been through DXO but as it does not have the module for the Sigma 10-20 the photos have not been cropped at all.
I like that lens. The distorsion will be visible with vertical objects but it depends on how close you are and it is normal with a lens that wide. Its autofocus is incredibly fast and silent.
I will upload some larger photos on pbase.
