Well the Tulip festival kicks off today until the 14th I believe. Its going to have thousands of tulips with buskers and concerts and other entertainment, weather permitting, bf and I are going on Sunday, but we will be going at some point if it is raining on the weekend, so I'll post some pictures when I take them :)
Have fun and hopefully the weather will be good :)
It is raining and cold again in London but I was in Venice last week where I got sunburned!

Well I took a LOT of pictures today lol. Some of them looked so much better on my camera than when I uploaded them. Either way, Im still fairly pleased. We went to a place called Major's Hill Park where they were supposed to have a whole bunch of things going on today, but we were in line to get in and a lady informed us a bunch of the stuff wasnt going on. So we went onto Parliament Hill and went to visit the Parliament cats (here's some info/explanation about the cats http://www.occdsb.on.ca/~sel/cyberpal/cats.htm ). Took some pictures there and then went off to Dow's Lake where they had over 300,00 tulips and I took a whole bunch of pictures there, so I weeded through them and pulled out the best.. so here you go :). Bare with me, Ive got some links to places for info on a picture or two.

This is the library at the Parliament bldng. You can see the top half of the architecture looks different/newer. They just finished rebuilding it because in 1916, the Center Block caught fire and the library was burned down. Theres some info here about halfway down http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parliament_Hill

Great photos Shannon :D
I love the one of the lone tulip and those red and yellow ones are so striking :D The last one is gorgeous. Looks like it should be on a Halmark card.
