I am looking into taking my honeymoon digital picture from about two years ago and adding some music w/ a slideshow and burning them to a dvd to watch with the in-laws. Any recommendations on software?

Do you have Windows Movie Maker on your computer? I made a movie of Lily with video and a picture slideshow to a song on it :) Its free and very easy to use.

Yes, I do. Can I just make a slide show? I want to add a song while it is showing the pics.

Yep you can.

After you open it, click on "import pictures" to the left. Select all the pictures you want (best to select about 10 at a time) and click "import". Drag the picture you want to the bottom half of the screen where it says "video". Put it just under where all the numbers (0:00:10:00 etc) are. Once you have put all the pictures you want on the video bar, you can add a song. Click on "import audio or music" and select the songs you want. Drag the song to the "audio/music" bar. Then thats it! Click "save to my computer", name it, then choose what size/quality to save it in.

You can view it at any time by clicking play on the video box to the right.

You can change how long the picture shows for by going to the video bar, putting your cursor on the picture and moving it around until a red arrow comes up. Hold your finger down, which makes a little box come up saying "duration". Drag the arrow along until the time you want.

It can be a little slow on my computer, so if something doesnt work the first time you click on it, just leave it for a few seconds and it will :)
