Nice pic Laura - your car is much cleaner than ours just now! The scenery in the background looks very like here :)

Nice car Laura! Can you tell a little more about it? I'm curious about vehicles in different countries. Who makes it? Engine size? Transmission type?

Lol its not that clean right now!

Its a 1994 Daihatsu Charade DeTomaso. 1.6 manual non turbo. Its the sportier version of a regular Charade like this http://www.autoweek.nl/images/480/2/d56d974584936a8466601f587a846f42.jpg

It has different outer panels like bonnet, boot, kit on the front back and sides and has different interior. Not my photo, but it looks like this inside http://foto.auto.vl.ru/album_photos/6/5410/42006.jpg (but mine isnt automatic).

Its an awesome car, goes really well and can go pretty fast when it needs to. There aren't too many around, I think they are pretty rare. Only come in black and red :)

Great pics Jan! I also liked the link to DeTomaso. I can remember seeing the X19s over here. Those and the Triumph TR7 were popular here for a while. The Dino 308GT4 looks like a fun car! ;) I liked the other Dino too! :D

Well, better late than never, right? I'll start out with my daily driver, better known as my Little Red Wagon. It's a '93 Ford Escort wagon. I bought it used a few years ago. It has a lot of miles on it, a few dings here and there and it's starting to get a little rust, but it gets me back and forth to work and gets me, J.C. and all our gear to the dog shows and it does it economically.

http://webpages.charter.net/pugsterk9/lil%20red%20wagon.jpg

J.C. seem to like it.

http://webpages.charter.net/pugsterk9/JC.jpg

Then there are those cars that I wish I had! Being from the U.S., I am fond of the "hot rods" :

What I belive is a '33 ford:

http://webpages.charter.net/pugsterk9/33%20ford.jpg

A '32 ford "deuce coupe" :

http://webpages.charter.net/pugsterk9/deuce%20coupe.jpg

A close-up of the gear shit lever:

http://webpages.charter.net/pugsterk9/shifter.jpg

A model "A" ford :

I also like the "muscle cars" of the late 1960s and early 1970s.

A 1967 Ford Mustang:

http://webpages.charter.net/pugsterk9/67%20mustang.jpg

A Ford Cobra:

http://webpages.charter.net/pugsterk9/cobra.jpg

A 1971 Ford Boss 351 Mustang:

http://webpages.charter.net/pugsterk9/71%20mustang.jpg

A very rare car. Only made 1 year and only a little over 1,000 made. Very few left now.

And the Corvette that I would really like to have:

http://webpages.charter.net/pugsterk9/vette.jpg

Then there are a few 1950s "oldies but goodies"

A 1955 Ford truck:

http://webpages.charter.net/pugsterk9/55%20ford%20truck.jpg

I've always wanted one of those!

A 1956 Ford Thunderbird:

http://webpages.charter.net/pugsterk9/56%20t-bird.jpg

Then for the antique lovers:

Ford (don't know the year):

http://webpages.charter.net/pugsterk9/ford.jpg

Buick :

http://webpages.charter.net/pugsterk9/buick.jpg

And an Oldsmobile:

Are we sick of looking at cars yet? :D

Don't think we are - everybody else might be though :)

Love J.C.!

I really like the 1967 Ford Mustang and the 1955 Ford Truck - cool white wall tyres too. I hope you get the Corvette you want one day :)

If money was no object the Lamborghini Miura is the one for me - I think it really is beautiful:

Fingers crossed for a lottery win ;)
