Well I finally found a small camcorder to take on my Cruise in February, its small, waterproof, and takes pictures too. Of course I haven't had too much time to read all about it, cool because its so small you can put it in your pocket, they have come a long way since those big clunkers.

Looks very nice! Have you taken any videos with it yet? Are you happy with the quality?

I've taken a couple videos but need to get used to holding in right. Only had it for a week and its really user friendly and I'm satisfied.

Which one do you have?
I like that kind of videocam recorder but I see two problems. One is just technical and is about the storage. If it is only on SD card, you would need many SD cards when used on high definition. The second problem is its design: it looks a little like a gun and you need to keep your arm outstretched for not shaking. Not many people would appreciate to have it pointed at them like a hand gun ;)

Secure digital? I have two 2 meg cards and they seemto hold plenty for me at the moment as its only for small videos. As for holding it, you are to keep your arm to your side to keep it steady and you would be looking at the camera window that folds open which is quite close toyour face. I don't see any sense holding it like a gun or pointing it at anyone:D But now that you mentioned that it would be good to pretend its a gun in case of a mugging:D:eek:
